- Established in 2000, our doors were opened to provide the West Haven community with comprehensive dental services. Through the years, we have expanded our services and staff in order to continue to provide the best care to our growing patient list. Dr. Ryan has been a General Dentist since 1996. After completing his dental residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, he practiced as an associate in Fairfield County. He then purchased the West Haven Family Dental Center in December 2000. He received his Dental degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1996. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University. Dr. Ryan practiced as a Registered Nurse in Manhattan prior to and during his dental education. This allows him to evaluate a patient from a unique perspective. Due to his ability to combine his physical assessment skills gained during his years as a Registered Nurse with his dental education and expertise.
