Founded in 1915, Smith School offers a range of academic and cocurricular programs. It has more than 700 students in prekindergarten through the fifth grade. The school provides various subjects, such as math, science, social studies, technology, government, history, physical and health education, computer application and language arts. Smith School also offers oral and instrumental music classes. Additionally, it has several facilities, including a science laboratory, library media center and computer room. Its library allows students to browse online databases and it also provides textbooks and other study resources. The school s parent-teacher organization organizes cultural programs, special field trips and educational enrichment activities. Smith School is located in West Hartford, Conn.
