Whitewater Rafting - Kennebec River (Weekday)

• Duration: 6 hours; $75; Need a little excitement in you life? Learn a magic trick to make boredom disappear! Gear up with a personal flotation device, paddle, and helmet while you get a whitewater orientation. Magic Rivers will transport you via the Magic Bus to the Harris Station Launch site. A licensed Maine Whitewater Guide will help you through the intense whitewater of the Upper Kennebec Gorge as you build up to the pulse pounding rapid, Magic Falls. You'll paddle through the big waves of Dead Stream Rapids at the end of the Kennebec's Upper Gorge before getting picked up by the Magic Bus to head back home. Take your pick of steak, chicken, fish or veggie burger and replenish your strength as you watch a slideshow documenting your epic day. Alakazam! That was exciting.
• Get outfitted by a knowledgeable guide and embark on an adventure down the Kennebec River

• Learn the basics of whitewater rafting before you hop in the water and practice your skills

• Enjoy a hearty meal of steak, chicken, fish or veggie burger, rice pilaf, cole slaw, roll, lemonade and our homemade berry cake, followed by a slide and video show of your trip at the end

You'll hop on your raft and hit rapids all the way down this fifteen-mile stretch of water. Test your skills on rapids like Spencer Rips, Hayden's Landing, Elephant Rock, the Mine Field and the infamous Poplar Falls, the longest continuous rapid in Maine! Alakazam! That was exciting.
• Cascade down 15 miles of almost continuous class II-V whitewater

• Take in the gorgeous Maine backcountry while experiencing thrilling rapids
