The Sammons Annuity Group is an underwriter of fixed and variable annuity products. The annuity group began operations in 1999 and has more than 250 employees. It manufactures and distributes annuity products through more than 38,000 independent agents and marketing organizations in various states and the District of Columbia. The annuity group is responsible for production, product development, management and operations as it relates to annuities for insurance companies owned by Sammons Enterprises, including Midland National Life and North American. The firm has more than 200,000 policy owners for providing services. The Sammons Annuity Group is located in West Des Moines, Iowa.
