Airport High School serves students in grades 9 through 11. Its academic curriculum includes classes in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally offers classes in art, music, career and technology education, and health and physical education. Airport High School has a world languages department that offers classes in Latin, French, German and Spanish. Its athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, soccer, cheerleading, cross country, tennis and football. The school s media center provides Internet access and has a collection of books, databases, reference materials, magazines and encyclopedias. Airport High School has several clubs and organizations that include the National Honor Society, band and drama clubs and French honor society. It is located in West Columbia, S.C., and is a part of Lexington County School District Two.
