I am in towm from Memphis for a few more days. My bpyfriend took me out as a last minute bday gift to finish a tat i started a while back. We went to two places off market st and were not impressed at all with excellent ink or high rollers. I came in to local colors hoping they were open late. (Back home our shops are open most of the night) They close at 8:00 pm which i didnt not know and i came in at 7:50. I simply just asked what time they closed and Angel, the man who did my tat, just asked why and what i wanted. I showed him my peice that needed to be touched up and duplicated and he said he didnt mind staying after and could do it. He did an amazing job. He did have a heavy hand but Angel is very talented. I felt beyond comfortable in this shop. And absolutely love how my tat turned out. Very professional and clean. He also knew my boyfriend gave me a spending limit and was more than willing to work with me on that as well. My bf will be coming back in a week or two to have his work drawn up andstarted. I definately plan on coming back. Also the ladies that were also there were nice as could be and gave me some cute yoga pants for my birthday.

I had a bad experience with a previous shop and got a tattoo i was less than happy with it. I went to a couple of other places who said there wasnt much they could do but cover it and that wasn't what id wanted. The artists at local color were able to fix it and make it what i had visioned is the first place. They listened to what my needs were and the work was great. I highly recommend this place, they worked wonders for me!

Had a tattoo done at local color by alex and not only was the place extremely clean and sterile but the job he did was one of the best I have seen in a very long time. I wont go anywhere else anymore.

I had gone in for a navel piercing and I was extremely pleased with the entire experience! The artists were all very friendly (which helps when your nervous [: ) and the girl who did my piercing walked me through each step, she even took time to help me pick the color of my navel ring!!! Everything was completely sterile and in sealed, single use packages. Afterward, she took plenty of time to thoroughly explain how to take care of it and answered all my questions. After my experience, I would not go anywhere else! You will absolutely not regret going to Local Color Tattoo!

I absolutely recommend Local Color Tattoos! It was a clean and friendly environment with knowledgeable staff. I was at ease there, and the artist helped me personalize my tattoo to suit what I wanted. Wonderful experience. I'll be going back to have my naval pierced as well!
