West Branch Regional Medical Center, located in West Branch, Mich., offers a range of health care services for the residents of Ogemaw County, Mich., and surrounding areas. The more than 80-bed acute-care facility includes four operating units, an obstetrics unit, a coronary and intensive care unit, and which includes four birthing suites. The medical center s emergency services department is open 24-hours, and features over 10 patient treatment areas. The center s services include heart catherization, magnetic resonance imaging, cardiac rehabilitation, pain clinic, increased rehabilitation services, and a pediatric surgery orientation program. The facility also features a helipad for medical evacuation helicopters to land. The medical center additionally runs the medical arts center that provides outpatient health services to support the medical center while remaining a separate entity.
