Smart Engineering Tools designs and manufactures the NETWAY product for real-time network simulation and analysis, which support nearly all of the protocols in the automotive industry for critical module control, diagnostics and development. The NETWAY product consists of three major components, including tools, which include physical interfaces to vehicle protocols and input/output systems; applications, which control configuration and network analysis for Microsoft Windows platforms; and control libraries for custom user controls of the NETWAY tools. The company s Netway4, Netway5, Netway6 and miniNetway6 can communicate with a personal computer through serial and universal serial bus communication ports and are capable of functioning without a PC in stand-alone mode. The company also manufactures peripheral component interconnect card/board and PCI extensions for instrumentation variations of the Netway6, named the NetwayPXI and the NetwayPCI systems.
