Aveda salon...so if you enjoy Aveda you will likely find this place to be a good fit! I have been there twice and had two different stylists. Both did a good job and I have gotten compliments on my color. Although, I'm still looking for someone to do a better job with my cut. The place is very "cozy" and nice...and overall the staff is very friendly. I'm not sure I like the lighting. It's hard to see and sort of dim so when I get home and see my hair in vanity light I see a completely different color! I feel they could work on this issue...but on the other hand, the dim and natural light coming from the windows is nice and relaxing. I have had a problem w/ service when I arrived for products late one eve. Tho their hrs stated they were open, I was turned off by the way I was treated when I came in. It was sort of like "oh no, I thought we could close early" (when all I needed was product, I wasn't a walk-in for a cut). W/ all the salons in town, I'd like to feel valued! Disappointed!

I've been to many salons through the years. I have always made my way back to Shear Excitement. I've had my hair, nails, tan ( when it was there), waxes, massages, electrolysis hair removal, my bridal up-do, my bridal party, my little sister went there for her wedding also, my sisters and I donated our hair, you name it. I love the employees who work there, and the know the manager pretty well. I tell all my friends and family to go there. I don't let anyone else cut my hair except this salon. I have "rules" to my hair and only let the best of the best touch my hair. This place is the best of the best! Thank you Shear Excitement for such wonderful service!

Nice atmosphere, nice people, hair cuts are very pricey. LOVE the place but in this economy cant afford the prices.

Shear Excitement gave me an excellent experience from my haircut to my 60 min. massage. I would recommend this salon to everyone!
