Bryan Keppler, DVM owner of the Animal Hospital of Wenatchee, holds additional certifications in orthopedic surgery and offers the most advanced care in laser technology. The new facility located at 10. N. Chelan Avenue boasts all new state of the art equipment in a cozy and professional atmosphere. With his new facilities and advanced training, Keppler aims to position himself as a surgeon, as well as providing Dental care, and general veterinary care. In 2004, Keppler was the first Veterinarian in North Central Washington to be trained and certified to perform Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy, (TPLO) the patented procedure which has an over 90% success rate of soundly repairing cruciates in large dogs. The procedure is amazing in how the dogs usually regain 100% mobility, are less likely to re-injure the leg and the procedure hinders the progression of arthritis. Most of Dr. Kepplers patients are bearing weight the day after surgery and are able to walk out of the clinic, where as the traditional repair can take several weeks and never gain complete mobility.
