The quaint "Wellsboro Inn on the Green" is located in the heart of Wellsboro overlooking the town square and fountain of Wynken, Blynken and Nod. We truly have the best location in Wellsboro! Listen to the sounds of the fountain's water and enjoy the calming glow of the many gaslights right from our front door. We are just minutes from the scenic Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and the beautiful Pine Creek Rail Trail. Hike, bike, kayak, raft, swim, picnic, and enjoy the many beautiful vistas. Wynken, Blynken and Nod are our 3 guest quarters- two in the main house and Nod is a private "tiny house" connected by a breezeway. Each room has a queen size bed, luxurious linens, private bathroom, AC, wireless internet and flat screen TV. Be very cautious when deciding to book reservations at the Inn on the green in Wellsboro Pa. The Inn keeper Heather Mee and I spoke over two weeks before my business trip to Wellsboro Pennsylvania. We kept in contact to assure everything was still as planned up to the time of my arrival. I had not even had the time to unpack and get cleaned up before Mrs. Mee increased the rental amount, within twelve hours she changed the entire agreement. Wellsboro is a tourist destination and housing is extremely difficult to find, when I found housing with Mrs. Mee I felt as if she had saved me and relieved a whole lot of anxiety. Turns out she hurt a lot of people and deceived me. Her reasoning to me was that I misled her by not telling her my dog may bark . (I thought that was common sense) and She can make more money renting a few days at a time verses 3 months at a time.There are several beautiful B&B in town , cabins,etc they are just really hard to get so reserve them early. If you must stay at the Inn on the green do not be fooled like I was and trust someone's word, make her send it to you in writing. In addition it is day 7 I have requested an outside garbage can 3 times....currenty the kitchen trash is over flowing and it smells horrible. I would have taken it out , but did not animals to get in to it.I have also asked for the rental agreement and receipt ....I need the receipt for my employer, I can not even get that and have made multiple requests.
