Kennedy Elementary School is a part of Unified School District 353. Located in Wellington, Kan., the school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in reading, English and math for more than 200 students. Kennedy Elementary School also provides instruction in art, band, physical education and vocal music. The school maintains a library that offers a variety of curriculum-related materials and storybooks. It provides various after-school programs and organizes educational outings, field trips and extracurricular activities. Kennedy Elementary School s parent-teacher association hosts several fundraising programs for the development of the school. Unified School District 353 maintains elementary, middle and high schools, as well as provides a range of services and programs for students with special needs.
