- UltrasoundBiopsies: Uterine biopsies may be indicated for various forms of irregular bleeding or ultrasound abnormalities of the uterus. This is an office procedure requiring no anesthesia. Biopsies of the vulvar or vaginal areas can be done under local anesthesia if indicated.
- Cyst RemovalLaparoscopy is a surgical procedure in which a thin telescope is placed into the abdominal cavity. Many gynecological procedures can be performed using this technique, including tubal sterilization, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cyst removal, treatment for endometriosis, and hysterectomy. In addition, laparoscopy can be used to diagnose conditions such as endometriosis, adhesions (scar tissue) and fibroids. It is often performed to seek a cause for pelvic pain.

- HysterectomyHysterectomy Surgery: A hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus. There are several ways this can be performed including vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic hysterectomy or abdominal hysterectomy. After a complete exam and history, a Seasons Women’s Care physician will discuss the most appropriate choice for you based on your diagnosis, physical and personal needs.
- Endometrial AblationHysteroscopy: This is a simple procedure in which a thin camera is placed through the cervix into the uterine cavity. It can be used as a diagnostic procedure (for example, to discover the cause of heavy bleeding) and also to treat a number of conditions. These include treatment for fibroids (myomectomy), tubal sterilization (such as Adiana or Essure ™), removal of polyps or scar tissue, and endometrial ablation.
- LaparoscopyLaparoscopy Surgeries — A doctor may perform minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures to treat many gynecological conditions. She will make very small incisions to accommodate a tiny camera to view the surgical site and specially designed instruments. The doctor can perform complex surgeries without making large openings in the body or viewing the surgical site with the naked eye. Patients have less pain and scarring and recover faster.
