there's no star that could indicate this hole....Keep driving....it's only 20 miles on North to a decent site along I-25...we paid $650 by early reservation and had to spend a month in this park(only because there is no refunds for any reason) and it was HORRIBLE!.....there's no grass..just weeds, the rough entry road will knock the wheels off your vehicles. The smell from the cattle lot just north of the park will blind you. Flies, mosquitos miller moths are abundant. Frequent power surges will keep you occupied if you have a surge protector, and if not you'll likely need a new AC and refrigerator soon after leaving. There is no WIFI as advertised and you park on dirt and weeds, unless you want to pay a premium.....and we thought $650 should have been a premium, but it wasn't.....I will never return and am beginning to find that KOA must mean Kiss Our *ss.....there's a wallmart 15 miles south....spend the night there and keep on driving!
We checked in here for two nights with 3 12 year old boys for a birthday treat. There is a cattle ranch just down the road and if the wind blows your direction you really know it. The car was full of flies as soon as we opened the doors. The pool was dirty and the water station adjacent to the tent sites was disconnected and falling apart. The childrens play equipment was old and rickety and in our view unsafe to play on. We asked for a refund for the second night and were only offered store credit. I contacted KOA and they simply said the site would reply but they never did.
