Founded in 1881, Dana Hall School is an independent boarding and day school for girls that provides education services in grades 6 through 12. It offers classes in math, art, English, social studies and science. The school also provides chorus activities. Dana Hall School organizes various athletic events, such as swimming, softball, volleyball and tennis. It is a member of the National Coalition of Girls' Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. The school has a staff of more than 50 individuals. In addition, it maintains a library and dining center. The school has a performing arts department, as well as health and wellness facilities. Dana Hall School also offers a community rock climbing program. It operates the Dana Hall School of Music.
