Let me start out by saying that this practice enjoyed a top reputation for many years. I had an extraction 30 years ago by Dr Stempien and it was a positive experience. Sadly things have really changed . I had a consultation and there was an issue with a bone density drug I had been taking (FOSAMAX+D). In very rare cases it has caused what is known as "dead jaw syndrome". Dr Stempien told me he would call me back to let me know what would be a safe waiting period before extracting the teeth. Actually the prescribing doctor told me to go ahead and have the teeth pulled because problems were quite rare with FOSAMAX. I waited a month for a call back from Dr Stempien but no call-back. I then proceeded to leave messages with his staff month after month. Each time I called the office his staff "absolutely assured me" I would receive a call from Dr. Stempien. It never happened. Eventually I just gave up. So as it stands he took my money for the consultation and then dumped me. I am wondering if this would be considered "Medical Abandonment"? What I find interesting is that his website deleted my review about this (so I posted it again). I think potential patients need to know that this doctor might dump you after a consultation.

I would not go back here if my life depended on it and I'm pretty sure Dr. Buehler wears depends. I was not given near enough sedation for which I payed upwards of 700$. I then talked to a friend of mine in the field who alerted me that they are basically still in the stone age of dentistry. They didn't take advantage of any of the new suture technology available to help the healing process as well as leaving out any antibacterial rinse now available. I would not send ANYONE here young, old, or stupid because they generally have a bad attitude(dont get me started on the receptionist) and pour dentistry skills. Post operation when I was still in searing pain from the lack of sedation it took Dr Buehler over an hour to return my call when i was told they would call back in 20 minutes after his current appointment. in conclusion, if you have been referred here i suggest that you look elsewhere and seriously reconsider your primary care dentist for referring you here.
