Provided by YP.comWe have watched with sadness the final episode of your show. We have been avidly watching it for the past several months, when we discovered it (luckily, NatGeo has marathon so we could catch up on past episodes. Your manner of dealing with and treating your patients reminds us of our past vets, who had the same "to the point" and matter-of-fact style.

Provided by YP.comI have no experience. I have a 13 year old standard poodle needing emergency services due to a bad upper tooth to where her whole right side of her face is swelled up. They couldn’t even squeeze her in to get antibiotics and a pain med as she won’t eat now for 2 days. I called Friday and Saturday begging for her to be seen but they told me no. I’m wondering out of all the patients they have, how many are actually from out of state and/or not even within an hour to two hours drive from here? Sad that a resident can’t get into a local vet for emergency services. Come on people it’s not about you being on tv, it’s about local people being able to get veterinary care for their livestock and pets. Thanks to unscrupulous people just wanting to get themselves on tv. To me, patients who don’t live here need to find a vet near them so us local people have a place to go to when WE have emergencies with our animals.
I guess this is a bad reflection on Pol Veterinary Services for allowing out of state people into their practice leaving us local people no other alternatives when it comes to needing tooth extractions. I’ve called all over including Grand Rapids and there isn’t a place where dentistry can be performed on a weekend. I sure hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else’s pet as it’s so hard to sit by watching your pet in pain waiting for tomorrow (Monday) since Friday night to get here fast!

Provided by YP.comI live in Monee, Illinois and I watch the show all the time. Love the compassion for all the animals large and small. I wish I could find that in the surrounding area I live. The vets here have all kinds of preconditions because of the virus prior to seeing him for the cyst on the base of his tail. They all want to do surgery which I understand but in the short term will not lance it and let it drain. Dr. Pol has done this many times right in the exam room but not the vets by me. Dr. Pol you are an example for other vets. Keep up the great work.

Giving Dr. Pol’s office a 1 star rating because he couldn’t take on anymore patients is obsurd! His office has 3 Vets and there office itself see’s over 19,000 patients! Yes 3 people seeing 19K patients, not 50 vets seeing 19K patients! That’s totally unfair to even rate him as a physician over not getting an appt! Basically your rating an appt., not him!! Apparently you wanted him as a vet or you wouldn’t have called to try to make an appt! I wouldn’t take on more clients either if I had that many already. Did you forget he has a home life too! Yes, he sees Diane daily and Charles a lot but he has more children and grandchildren I’m sure he loves spending time with. As for Emily, she has young babies!! She needs time for them too! I think your comment and rating were totally uncalled for and your being very selfish! Why you would give negative ratings on someone for doing something ethically what’s best is just wrong. Sorry but the truth stinks sometimes!

Provided by YP.comI live in Minnesota and have birds, cats and small dogs. I love to watch D r.Pol for 2 reasons 1) The way they interact with each other and the love shown in the family - one word comes to mind Humanism. 2 His knowledge and ability to handle different problems with farm animals....It is quite obvious that he loves animals. The vet I go to reminds of Dr Pol. I consider myself and animals lucky

Provided by YP.comWish Dr. Pol & all were here! Thankfully, found a good vet the next town over, who, like the Pol folks, will take care of my pet in off-hours emergencies! Not one vet in my city will! Expect us to take pets to a clinic far away! Few of Pol's caliber left! Hope he, Dr. Brenda, & staff will inspire future vets to be more than 9-5, M-F business people!

Provided by YP.comLove the show. In defense of Charles, he used to work at in Hollywood as an intern for Sydney Pollack. I'm not sure what else he did, but as you know Sydney Pollack died. Charles came back home when that happened and I believe he's responsible for creating the show. He's not a vet, and never will be.

Provided by YP.comHallo dr.
Groeten, fam Wantenaar, Liempde, Noord-Brabant, Nederland!
P.S. Momenteel kijken we naar een aflevering waarin je blauw haar en een blauw snorretje hebt (Halloween),

Provided by YP.comNothing hurts more than hearing you won't help my dog because you aren't accepting new patients. You gave me an appointment time and then because I was't on your list you refused me.
Thank you!

Provided by YP.comMy family tries to watch every episode of Dr. Pol. The best loved episode was the one where Dr. Pol had to put his own dog to sleep. This episode showed the love and compassion that the Pol family has for not only their animals but every animal they come in contact with. My entire family was crying watching Dr. Pol performing one of the most difficult task of his life.
Dr. Pol is so helpful and generous. My daughter telephoned Dr. Pol about an injured 4-H duck. She lives over 100 miles away from the clinic in Indiana. Dr. Pol was not available when called but when he returned to the clinic he called her back and advised her how to treat her duck. It worked and the duck placed at the fair. Thanks you Dr. Pol.
These people are wonderful. Dr. Pol, Diane and Charles. I wish I had the opportunity to meet you. Thank you for all you do for all animals. Keep up the good work but also take time to have some fun.
Your friends in Indiana
