I would like to thank everyone at Concrete Specialists for the excellent service, timeliness, and quality of work you provided me in completing my projects, especially Danny and Colleen.Once I decided it was time to do these projects, I went online to find a contractor, and also talked to several people that had work done previously. I chose 3, one called back but failed to show up twice to look at the work. Another finally met with me after a week and had no idea what permits were required, and I called Concrete Specialists and left a message on the machine, and in less than 24 hours Colleen returned my call, Danny met with me and looked at the work, and I was given a quote that included all permitting fees and the price for all the work.(All concrete was 4000 psi, which was not even offered by the others). I was also pleased to find out that Concrete Specialists offer a veteran discount.After accepting the price and agreeing on a contract I was told it would probably take about 3 weeks to get the permits submitted and approved and to get the work done. The job was fully completed in less than 2 weeks.I have already recommended your company to several others and hope they let you do their work and will recommend you to anyone looking for a concrete contractor. The made it easy from the moment Colleen (Danny's wife) called us back to set up an estimate, to when she downloaded all of the specs for our property and pulled the permit. Danny is a true artist when it comes to concrete, and it truly shows in his work. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and honest when it comes to helping you get exactly what you want. Review Continued Part 2- There is no sloppy work from them, nor do they take any shortcuts. They simply "do the job right" the way it needs to be done and the end result is proof. One rarely sees such craftsmanship and pride of work as the Owner, Danny, and his crew exhibit. In addition, Colleen and Danny, the owners, are a joy to work with. Unlike many other contractors, we found they were quite willing to "put it in writing" when it came to vital contract clauses that prevent misunderstandings and protect both the customer and the contractor. Working out contract wording and reasonable changes with Colleen was a joy as she understood the needs and pleasantly made any reasonable and applicable changes. And she is so pleasant to talk with. As such, we do have future work to be done inside our garage and have already gotten a new quotation from Concrete Specialist to do the work in the near future. On 02 September 2013 Concrete Specialist finished their work on our pool deck, lanai, front sidewalk and entryway, and utility walk from the garage to the pool area. In addition they also replaced a portion of the driveway that had cosmetic damages. When compared to the original driveway; it is spectacular, and puts the previous concrete work to shame. Too bad we did not have the funds to do the entire driveway. We are very pleased with the results of all their hard work and are glad that we chose them. Their workmanship is meticulous, and also is high quality workmanship that they can be proud of. In addition they were very informative throughout the job and made sure we were aware of what the next step in the process was to be, and what needed done next, and an approximate time to do it. So we never had to ask What is being done, when, and how long will it take. For the most part, I would agree with the other reviewers and give 5 stars, but I'll explain my reason for 3. Dan did come on time, was very professional, worked hard to get it done before our christmas party. The work was very good. I had simply 2 questions about some marks left from knee pads and the residual pieces I saw sitting on the lanai, which I later realized would come off. The next day, my husband watered it down and saw water puddling in one spot, so he called Dan to ask if anything could be done about it. Dan didn't stay to see the job completed, left a worker to finish, so we wanted him to know. We were not displeased at all, merely asking a few questions. He told us he couldn't do anything. But, now that we are looking to do the second part, he won't call us back. His wife told us that Dan didn't think we liked the work. So, now the second phase of the project, resurfacing driveway, is left incomplete due to a sensitive ego. That's not proper business behavior

They did a drive way extension project for me and I strongly recommend their services, here's why: Cost - They beat 2 other bids by a LOT! I was concerned the old adage "you get what you pay for" might bite me, but that never was an issue. On budget, on time and done right. Quality Driveway came out great, I cant see any defects or issues (Danny is very proud of using 400psi concrete) Communications Great communications with Danny and his wife Coleen. My case was even more interesting since I live in Alaska and worked all planning via phone/email till we met in person 2 days before pouring the concrete. There were no surprises and everything was executed professionally Flexibility I noted an error on my part with the slab being too short on one side of the driveway. Instead of a hassle or additional service charge Danny simply excavated/moved the forms and only additional cost being the extra concrete required ($140 I think) Overall good people, fine work, great deal!

I had Dan add on to my driveway. he came out the same day I contacted him to give me an an idea of what the cost would be.told me he would take care of everything permits and so on.he was promt and finished up when he said he would.Dan is very professional and friendly.when he finished he cleaned up the mess left everything looking just great.The concrete work was top of the line and looks great.

Danny and crew were great. On time and reliable. Had garage resurfaced along with driveway redone and some stucco work around the house. Well recommended.
