We purchased a new belt for a Honda self-propelled mower from them, but when I partially disassembled the mower to install it. the belt numbers did not match. Since I was visiting my newly widowed sis-in-law and helping her with several things, time was short, so on May 1 we took the mower to Reeves to install the right belt and do a basic tune-up. They promised it in 5 days - before I departed the state. After multiple delays and varying stories about arrival of the new belt, my sis-in-law was notified on May 14 that the mower was ready. She was also notified that she would be charged $50 more than quoted because they had installed a belt on it, and it didn't work, and then they had to install the right belt. She has yet to pick up the mower, but it is a valuable mower, so she probably will end up paying the bill bloated by Reeves' ignorance of which belt to install. My advice? Find a competent shop with a reputation for honesty. This isn't that kind of plac.
