Westwood Hills Elementary School, located in Waynesboro, Va., offers a comprehensive curriculum for students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school is governed by the Waynesboro City Public Schools and has an enrollment of more than 450 students. It offers various subjects, including English, language arts, reading and writing skills, mathematics, science and social studies. It also provides music, arts, crafts, and health and physical education classes. In addition the school offers a fully equipped library and media center that features video tutorials with instructions on usage of various software programs that include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suit, Appleworks, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb and Windows Movie Maker. Westwood Hills Elementary School also has a parent-teacher organization that supports various academic programs.
