Vinnies has been here a million years (look at the chairs-they're old "Hardees H" chairs from when that franchise closed). Their pizza is pretty darn good and the calzones are wonderful when fresh (watch out for older ones that have been hanging around-ask them if they're fresh-best way to guarantee is to order a special one;replacing that thick piece of ham with thin pieces of sausage or eggplant (or both) great choices. One problem-they tend to burn their pies-the bottoms & crusts sometimes suffer this fate so tell'em you don't want it "well done" & you'll be happier.Their cold sub sandwhich is thin but far better than you'd expect-skip the watery peppers-salads have H2O as dressing. Hot subs with cheese will be pulled off by the foil. This defect could've been fixed 3 decades ago with wax paper between the cheese & foil but, as said, Vinni's doesn't embrace CHANGE.Nice guys, they care, they laugh, they sometimes all ignore you when you walk in-but otherwise they make good food!
