In January of this year my husband purchased an Open Range 5th Wheel from General RV at the RV show. We had been looking for one for about a year and decided this was THE one. The RV was delivered to our seasonal camp site in April and we settled in for a great season of camping. Imagine our surprise when we began to notice a damp floor. My husband climbed inside the hull and found many loose connections! After tightening all of them we contacted Jim Guinn at General RV. Jim listened, documented and sent out a service person. The service person verified the issue and agreed that we could use the trailer until the end of the season. Although the manufacturer warranty was only 90 days the good folks at General RV agreed that all of this would be taken care of. Well, having read some of the reviews here I was a bit skeptical. I am happy to report that the 5th wheel was fixed as new. Jim kept us updated with e-mails and pictures. Lot's more to say but no more room here.
