Founded in 1972, Ware County Middle School is an educational institution that provides academic classes and extracurricular activities to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It covers an area of over 80 acres. The school's facility features a track, greenhouse, computer laboratories, tennis courts, and football and baseball courts. It conducts classes in English, reading, math, language arts, science, social studies, technology and physical education. Ware County Middle School supports activities, such as band, chorus, art and keyboarding. It offers an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide reading practices in children.
