I enjoy going to Wausau Health & Fitness; they have some great personal trainers. Cheryl is the best! If you need to get yourself on track or just to get motivated, work with Cheryl for a few sessions and she will get you motivated! She will give you your money's worth. In my many experiences with health clubs through out the country, Wausau Health and Fitness is very clean and equipment is well maintained. There is a good balance of all types of exercise equipment. For a small town gym it's top notch! Reccommended.

The people at the desk are always kind and considerate of the new people that come to the gym. They always are there for the people that need help to learn the machines. Hope they keep up the good job.

The first reviewer is absolutely wrong. Wausau Health & Fitness is the best facility in Wausau. I have been to every facility in the city and can assure you WH&F is top notch. If there is any doubt in your mind just stop in and take a look. You shouldn't need any more proof than that.

I would agree. DIrty-Yes. A lot of the machines are sticky and discolored. Knowledgeable staff?-Hardly. I have switched to another club in town, SNAP FItness. Awesome equipment, way more flexible hours and doesn't have the old gym sock smell to it. Not all health clubs or gyms are dirty.

I couldn't disagree with Rick more! I have been a member for a year, and have had memberships at other Wausau gyms prior to my Wausau Health & Fitness membership. The owners are local members of the community who are highly educated and trained. I enjoy working out at a locally owned facility that is affordable and has a knowledgable staff. WH&F is no dirtier than any other club I have belonged to - it is, after all, a gym.

I had spent a lot of time working out at different local fitness clubs in the Madison area. After moving here, I was deeply disappointed with the lack of knowledge and upkeep of the clubs in the Wausau area, especially Wausau Health & FItness. Minimal cleanliness and lack of staff knowledge from their so-called personal trainers. What a joke! Don't be disappointed. Go to a real fitness club, don't waste your time with below average equipment, dirtiness and untrained personal.
