MBX, formerly Marathon Box Corporation, is a vertically integrated organization that controls its product from the sawmill log to the wood package on a client s receiving dock. Its products include custom designed wood and plastic crates, pallets and skids as well as corrugated crates and boxes, double-hinged pallet boxes, tubes, partitions, point of purchase displays, reusable produce containers, returnable packaging, wood and plastic dunnage, plastic lumber profiles and bulk bins. MBX s services include package design, International Safe Transit Association certified testing and inventory management. The company s log inventory is maintained near Tomahawk, Wis. at the site of its sawmill, the Nokomis Lumber Corporation. MBX s headquarter is located in Wausau, Wis., with an additional manufacturing facility located in Beloit, Wis.
