Reynolds Group Home provides shelter and services to adolescents and families and has been operational since 1978. It has served exclusively as residence for up to eight male residents. Located in Wausau, Wis., the organization is owned and operated by Marathon Youth Services, which provides counseling and therapy services. The parent company organizes interactive group sessions and workshops on various topics, such as adult and family relationships, anger management, character development, communication skills and peer pressure. Marathon Youth Services conducts group outings for bowling, swimming at the YMCA, reading at the public library, and movies and plays. In addition, its residents enjoy picnicking and sledding and assists with snow removal.
