Blazeguard fire rated wood panels consist of a sheet of oriented strand board or plywood combined with a thin coating of International Barrier's patented Pyrotite fire resistant formulation. A Blazeguard wood panel is able to achieve a Class A, structural flame spread rating and its burn-through resistance is nearly triple that of untreated wood panels. International Barrier has corporate headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, and operates a manufacturing plant in Watkins, Minn.
