The Arc of Schuyler County is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving people with developmental disabilities in Watkins Glen, N.Y. It offers a range of services, including advocacy, occupational, physical and speech therapy, intermediate care facilities, supportive apartments and transportation for disabled people. In addition, the organization s Glen Industries program offers vocational training, job placement and employment coaching and counseling. The Arc of Schuyler County was founded 1978 by a group of parents and friends of people with disabilities. It is a member of The Arc of the United States, a national organization that is committed to helping people with disabilities choose and realize their goals.
