I absolutely love the Puppy Patch! The new owner is so nice and makes you feel welcome no matter what. My friends and I go there a lot just to play with the puppies, and Misty is always so nice to us and doesn't mind that we go there a lot. The dogs are always happy and healthy and their play areas are very clean. It's a fantastic place to go if you're interested in buying a puppy!

I have been bring my dog here for grooming for a few years now, they seem to do a good job with that. However last year my boyfriend and I adopted a bulldog/beagle mix puppy. She was a wonderful dog, however within a week of having her she became very ill, we had to rush her to the vet for breathing issues 2 days before her general check up, and was diagnosed with pneumonia and a gastro-intesintal virus, we were informed that the pheumonia virus has an incubation period of about a week week and a half so it could not be something she picked up from our other dog. Also per our family vet, the vaccines that were given to her by their vet were given too early to have any effectiveness. Also through re-reading the paperwork we had signed, there is a clause that they will NOT reimburse any vet bills from illnesses incurred from their facility. I would not recommed adopting a pet from here, unless you are prepared to pay for vet bills within the first 2 weeks after adoption.
The woman who grooms, I believe her name is Noella is fantastic. We had a cat who was very hard to groom. We brought her first to Four Paws. The lady at Four Paws in Watertown, Ct. told us not to ever bring her back there. We were disappointed and hurt by her actions. We would not recommend Four Paws for cats. We went to Puppy Patch and Noella was kind and gentle with our cat, Rachel. We recommend her to everyone for grooming cats.
I go there all the time for my "puppy therapy." Now that there's a new owner, they seem to have a better reputation. They seem to also be right on top of their information as far as the breeds, breeders, and how to care for the dogs. You can see for yourself how healthy they are because they are in big play pens for socializing and seem so happy. I see the way the kids play. It's like a home in between. i love it!

ZERO STARS. Owner was very rude to us when we inquired where the puppies came from. She would not show us any "breeder" info or tell us where they were born. We subsequently found out she buys from puppy mills. That is the only way she can make any profit. Reputable breeders do NOT sell to puppy stores. They don't need to - they have waiting lists of adoptive parents already. Make adoption your ONLY option!!! Do Not support an industry that abuses dogs. I would not be surprised if the people who wrote good reviews were the owner herself or her employees. Either that, or there are a LOT of ignorant people who just don't care where the puppies come from or the fact that they are supporting a heinous industry. ADOPT ADOPT ADOPT. We went next door to the Simon Foundation Dog Rescue and adopted a dog. We're so glad we did.
