Provided by YP.comThey don't show up for appointments. We have been scheduled and rescheduled 9 times. Were even told they had more important customers. They don't return calls, and are rude.

Provided by YP.comI've used Gibson's in the past for small and major projects (>$10k). They responded to my call on a Saturday and came out same day. The service person said that one of my zone valves had stuck open and wouldn't let the system shut off. It was old and looked terrible. He was able to disconnect it so the system wouldn't run continuously.
That part was alright -- it was the suggested service that really upsets me.
After going to his truck for a bit the technician came back into the house and detailed how this valve, and another on the system that looked bad, should be replaced. And how it would take so much work to REMOVE the valves and solder new ones in, drain the boiler and refill, clean the burners and replace two air eliminators. His quote was about $1200! OK, I'm a pretty decent DIYer and I looked on the internet for the valves and air eliminators - all grand total $150 in parts! The Manufacturer, Honeywell, DOESN'T recommend removing old valves, just using their update kit specifically made for when these go bad, thus eliminating the hassle and labor of plumbing! The air eliminators were $8 each (two of them) - screw off old ones, screw on new ones. I was able to replace the valves and air eliminators in about an hour, including draining the boiler and refilling. So they must of planned on charging excessive labor charges for the rest of the work.
So... in the end, it seems a case of OVERKILL and recommending UNNECESSARY work to clients in need! Nice try, but now you lost a customer forever!

Provided by YP.comCharged more than was agreed upon TWICE and then the owner of the company argued with me, laughed and spoke to as if I was a child
I called in on June 26th, 2013 explaining that I needed some work done for one of our properties ( I work for a company in fort wayne) and I spoke to three different people who assured me that the work being done (a camera line being run from the basement of a house to the alley) would only cost $120. Two people, one including myself, spoke to a woman in accounting who assured us that the card would only be ran for that amount. After having so much success the first time, we called and asked them to come out a second time. I spoke to one of the woman at the front desk, who told me it would only be $59 because they would be running the line. When the man got out there (three days after the appointment was scheduled in the office) he called to let us know that the card was going to be run for $184 WHICH IS NOT THE AMOUNT AGREED UPON BY ANY MEANS. So I called the main office and told them not to do anything until I could talk to a manager. I spoke with the owner, who was a little condescending and told me since they had already been out there once, they would take off the $59 fee and do it for $125 (which was better but still not the price I was told). The work was done and now today I get a bill in the mail from the very FIRST time they company went out and did the work and it's for $184!! THAT PRICE WAS NEVER AGREED UPON AT ALL. Myself and my boss both spoke with the accountant who told us it would be $120. I called in today, spoke to a woman at the front desk, who transferred me to accounting, who wasn't helping at all, so I asked to speak to the owner.I had spoken with this man before, but this time around he was a completely different person. He spoke to me as if I was a child and didn't know what I was talking about whatsoever. He claims that we agreed upon the first time being $184 WHICH I NEVER EVEN KNEW UNTIL WE GOT THE BILL TODAY IN THE MAIL. He then laughed at me and said I'm not going to lose any sleep over this I'll credit you back. I want to make it noted that he said he would credit us back the $59 for the first time they came out. I'm waiting for the credit to come back still. I want to make sure people know not to use this company, especially when the owner thinks that it's okay to talk to a woman the way that he did.
