The Fiscal Services division works to provide accounting and budgeting services to the county's departments and divisions. The division is responsible for reporting the financial position and economic condition of the county in accordance with the standards. It also works to publish a summarized annual report that is used by the general public. The Fiscal Services division is responsible for monitoring the implementation of triennial salaries and operating and capital budgets. The division also works to offers administration services that include hiring staff, encouraging professional development opportunities, and supervising contractual and technology resources. It is a part of the he Management and Budget Department, which is governed by Oakland County in Michigan.
