- Physical Therapy“This happened in I believe 2005/2006. I was about 10/11 at the time, and I had been bitten extremely bad on the upper arm by a dog. My arm was ripped to shreds, to this day I can still see every detail of it, you said it was one of the worst things you’ve seen, and I agree. I remember you saying that the work you were going to do may be useless, but that you’d try anyway. I was lucky to have my arm, and I was lucky to have you working on it. A long road through physical therapy led me to close as can be to full function. I became a high school athlete qualifying for states in many of my races. Upon graduating I started powerlifting and set multiple deadlift and squat records in multiple states. Now I have a 5 year and counting career with Veolia Water where I do many things including manual labor. I purchased my first house at 22 from my hard work, but that has all been possible through you and your hard work. Many people do not even notice my scars/deformation unless I tell them. They see the before and after and are amazed. So in a way, I owe credit to you for all of my hard work made possible by your hard work. I was very young at the time so I do not think I really processed and understood the seriousness of the situation, nor the effort put into it. I was just looking at the gathered things I have from it and figured I would reach out to say thank you. I’m not sure I’d have the life that I enjoy daily without you in that room. “
