The Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging, also know as WCAAA, is a private, nonprofit organization that offers health care services to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. It provides a variety of care management and in-home assessment programs. The organization offers a range of dementia and home care solutions. The Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging maintains meal sites that provide food items and beverages to senior centers and churches. In partnerships with the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services, the organization operates the National Family Caregiver Support Program. The Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging receives funds through the federal and state agencies.
