Founded in 1960, Microbest is a Swiss screw machine shop in Waterbury, Conn. The building houses all company departments, including primary screw machines, secondary operations, center less grinding, tool room and machine building facilities, cleaning, finishing and shipping. It also offers full administrative, training and team room facilities. It specializes in complex, high-precision machining of standard and exotic materials for weapons, aerospace and medical applications. It provides engineering assistance with component design. The plant is fully heated and air-conditioned. It is equipped with electrical, mechanical, data communications with both inter and intranet capabilities, aqueous parts cleaning and other necessary systems.
