Giovanni's restaurant fed me and my husband at least 4 times a week. My most favorite dish was the chicken francais. I called it chicken Giovanni because they perfected it for me. A Thicker sauce I requested. And it was my favorite meal. Served with plain pasta (penne) fresh, hot, house made bread and a salad. Satisfied me everytime. Some times, a cheese pizza, or a calzone was what I needed. Never a disapointment. I moved to the Virgin Islands 3 years and 4 months ago. There is not one restaurant here that even compares to Giovanni's. Believe me if you will that I dream at night that Giovanni's is just around the corner and I am so exited my chicken francais will be mine to savor again. Then I wake up. So sad. When you walk in, the smell of fresh bread baking, hearing the chatter between friends at the bar, and a warm greeting from any or all of the three owners (brothers), is welcoming.
