Provided by YP.comAwesome thai food! I've looked all over Wasilla for something that would taste close to the food I had on my last trip to Thailand and I've FINALLY found the one. Thanks mekong for the Pad thai, which is to die for!

Provided by YP.comI ate at Mekong Thai Cuisine on Saturday, September 13, 2008. I ordered the Spring Fresh Rolls and Red Duck Curry.
The Fresh Spring rolls had wilted greens and a paper like consistancy without much flavor. While waiting on the Red Duck Curry, I watched the waitress placing flatware on a cleaned table getting ready for the next customers. She dropped the spoon on the floor, picked it up and placed it back on the table and finished setting the rest of the table. Once the curry arrived, and I started eating. After I had eaten about 3/4 of the curry, I noticed a strange object in the bowl. I pulled it out and placed it on my plate. After looking a little harder at the object, I started to unfold a plastic bag about the size of a quart storage bag. The plastic was hard and had small holes in it from the heat. I asked to speak with the owner immediately and was told by the owner that "mistakes happen". I had the taste of plastic in my mouth for the next 3 hours. I have filed a formal food complaint with the State. Be sure to read the complaint on thier web site: www.alaska.gov
If you decide to eat at Mekong, be sure to check your food for foriegn objects. This is not the first time it's happened to me.
