General Info

During his undergraduate years, Dr. Samuel Muench studied biology, knowing he wanted a career in science. He decided to pursue a career in medicine because it combines science with the care of people. After years of education and training, Dr. Muench chose to specialize in gastroenterology because of the fieldâ??s unique conditions and diseases and the lifelong patient-physician relationships that grow as a result of treating these chronic conditions.
