Last year Kim repaired a clock for me - no problem - and gave me a 1-year guarantee on the repair. When it stopped working again while still during the warranty period, I took the clock back to Kim to have him fix it again. He has now had my clock for more than 6 months. Again it's the same thing as the other reviewers - every time he promises it will be ready in just a few days, and every time I go back, it's not ready. He's promised me money back, lifetime repairs etc. - but all I want is my clock back. I'm still waiting! I would not recommend getting him to repair anything you want to see again.

Had a few good experiences with Kim's, but will never go back after he held onto my jewelry for 6 mos. I asked him to fix a locket and make simple repairs to some other items of my grandmother's jewelry. I kept going back to pick up my jewelry, and he kept telling me the locket wasn't ready for this reason or that. I asked for the other jewelry besides the locket---he said he would give it to me all at once. When I finally got my jewelry back, many of the pieces were dented with a tar-like hard grime splattered on them. He gave me a full refund, but only after I pressed him about it (he had promised to refund my $ on one of the many times I went to pick up my jewelry). He changed from very nice to quite annoyed when I asked for the full refund. Quite frankly, I think he had misplaced my jewelry, hence the extended time lag, jewelry that cannot be replaced and that has much sentimental value to me.

Kim had my watch for several months, kept missing his promised delivery dates, charged me for service, but failed to repair it. I'd recommend going elsewhere.
