Established in 2001, Migration Policy Institute provides analysis and evaluation of migration and refugee policies at local, national and international levels. It also offers translation and interpretation services to administrators and policymakers. Additionally, the institute provides research, policy design, leadership development and technical assistance services to elected officials, researchers, managers, leaders and activists. It manages a staff of more than 25 professionals, including policy analysts, project managers, research assistants and administrative personnel. The institute accepts donations from various businesses and charitable organizations. It publishes reports on various issues, such as migration management, national security, civil liberties, refugee protection and immigrants settlement.
