They do not split checks! Besides they are expensive and the food is not as testy as their competitors! I do not recommend this restaurant. Di not go there!
Overall, the restaurant is as good as it gets. It has enough space to eat, enough waitress to serve, they are as traditional as ethiopian culture could be(in regard to clothes). They have a very good menu light on the creativity. It is literally the same menu that does not change but very Nice. Dukem almost all night have a music night. If you happen to come during that time you are going "WHAT" when you see your bill. Some times the servers take advantages of you when you are in a rush or if the restarant is busy; watch out now, make sure you are paying for what you are served for, I am not sure if some servers are doing it intentionally but you might see extra money added to your bill. It happened to me and there was over twenty dollar extra added. if it was not for my wife, I would have added and gave her a tip as well. 4/5
Service: If the restaurant is NOT busy, you will get the best service; they are attentive, friendly, nicer, selectivelly pretier specially the music night servers. When Dukem gets busier, you can not eat and apparently you can not dance exsta either. If you want to eat, you will only get to see your waitress three times that evening: first to take order, second to get you food, third to hand you the ckeck. 3/5
Place: Dukem has a nice settings. It is at the corner so they have extra deck to sit you out side and show your face. enough space to dine in but not enough dine in and dance! 4/5
You will not be disappointed with their food. It is a popular restaurant with the local Ethiopians. I live 20 miles away from the restaurant, but the food is worth it!!
