The Columbia Heights/Shaw Family Support Collaborative, also known as CH/S FSC, is a nonprofit organization that comprises more than 40 community service agencies, resident groups and neighborhood leaders. Founded in 1996, the organization helps protect children from child abuse and neglect in the community. It serves various families with children in the cities of Columbia Heights and Shaw in Washington, D.C. The Columbia Heights/Shaw Family Support Collaborative is supported by the district government and local and national foundations. The organization offers crisis intervention, community building, case management, information and referral, and family group decision making and team meeting coordination services.
