As US diplomats, I have lived in many countries. Amonh them, Rome, Italy, Thailand, Belgium, etc.I had suits and shirts made in Bangkok - not the tourist version but the upperclass of the Oriental Hotel. Even in Johannesburg, South Africa, I had shirts and suits made by a bespoke tailor who claimed to have worked at Saville Road in London. While in Rome, Italy - I bought - of course - some suits and trousers and shirts there.The suits/shirts made in Bangkok were great and good value. Johannesburg's tailor is a good craftsman but considering the cost of living there expensive.Mr. Baytok is a true professional, by no means one could call his products cheap, but he delivers only superior quality material and is workmanship is great. We discovered his shop accidently in 2006 but while in DC this February, we returned and gave his business an "economical boost". He is a man of his word, a gentleman and honest.
