The American Dental Education Association is a nonprofit educational organization that represents dental schools and the people associated with them throughout the United States and Canada. The organization conducts a variety of researches and organizes conferences. It issues a monthly newsletter and other publications, including the Journal of Dental Education. Established in 1923, the American Dental Education Association has more than 16,000 individual members. The association s corporate members include Academic Management Systems, ADA Insurance Plans, AEGIS Communications, Align Technology, and American Eagle Instruments. The American Dental Education Association s members also include allied and postdoctoral dental education programs, such as Mesa Community College and Northern Arizona University. It operates a live learning center, as well as provides financial support for dental education, research and leadership.
