Founded in 1963, J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center is a nonprofit organization that coordinates a range of community, recreational, training and educational services for children, adults and senior citizens. The organization offers early intervention, daily living skills improvement, community support and home-based children services. J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center provides employment and residential and community living opportunities. It also offers respite care, special education and family support services. In addition, the organization operates a teaching center for children with autism. J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center serves the residents of more than 45 communities in Rhode Island.
