CHILD, Incorporated is a private nonprofit agency that provides child development and family support services to low- and moderate-income families. The agency owns and operates several child development facilities. Each of the agency s facilities is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education and approved and funded by the Federal Administration for Children and Families. CHILD, Incorporated is also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. It employs professionals in child development, early childhood education, health, nutrition, social work, mental health, finance and special education. The agency conducts parent workshops on various topics, such as child development, guiding behavior of young children, domestic violence, substance use and community resources. It has several locations in Warwick, R.I.
