I came into this practice at 4 weeks pregnant for an ultrasound as I am experiencing a large amount of complications. My OBG referred me in early as I was just looking for consulation that my baby is alive and healthy. I explained to the radiologist that I had drank 24oz. of water to help to be able to see, as I know I am still too early too see anything. She was extremely rude, telling me "no, you need to go empty your bladder". I asked "wouldn't it be helpful if my bladder is full?" She said no because you're going to be telling me that you have to pee. (Which I really didn't mind. The sensation of having to urinate is worth it to be able to know my child is alive and healthy.) I did as I was told because, after all; I am not a pro right? After finishing with the ultrasound she threw me a box of tissues and told me I can clean up. I had no idea if I was suppose to wait in the room or leave. There was no "thank you" or I'll get this over to your doctor immediately. We did not discuss the ultrasound results at all; she just left without saying anything and I was just suppose to figure out that I was all set. I do not recommend this practice to any expectant mothers. Completely insensitive and RUDE!!!
