Founded in 1952, Mariam Boyd Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 350 students, and offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. The school offers instructions in a variety of subjects, including math, science and technology, social studies, language arts, English, health education, Spanish, arts and crafts, music, and physical education. It also provides various after school programs to assist students with learning disabilities. The school has a fully equipped computer lab and library. Its cafeteria offers a wide variety of food items for breakfast and lunch. The school has a parent-teacher association that caters to the needs of students and helps them in achieving academic excellence.
