Dr. Means was busy. He barely looked at me when I approached him and did not even make eye contact when I explained the situation. BUT HE LISTENED TO EVERY WORD I SAID! Dr. Means basically said Tilly needed her intestines straightened out and put back inside her where they belong. However, this would be risky due to her age and the fact that her intestines were tiny and probably wore thin. There was a big chance she would not make it but he was willing to perform the surgery with my permission. SURGERY, I dont have enough money! I Have to let Tilly die because I do not have money to take care of her health needs! I felt HORRIBLE!until I heard $150.Really? He informed me that she would have to stay there after surgery for up to a week. How much does it cost per day, I asked. It is $150. whether she stays one day or one week, he replied!. :) Well the Surgery was a success, Tilly stayed three days,was vaccinated, & is much much happier, all for $150. THANK YOU DR. MEANS UR1OFAKIND <3

We went to this vet for the first time. The office was a bit messy but he truly cared about the pets and was interested in learning about the dog we rescued. Rates are the best you will find!

This vet truly cares more about the animals than money. Doesn't go in for the latest thing just because, he uses what works and will be actually used because the owners can afford it!

This is the best vet in missouri....not a very personable person but is the best with the animals!!!
