Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare is a nonprofit community mental health organization that provides a range of services to preadolescent children throughout the state of Missouri. It offers in-home psychiatric rehabilitation, crisis intervention, office-based outpatient mental health, and adult and adolescent residential substance abuse treatment services. The organization maintains a regional support center that provides technical assistance, training and resources for community teams, task forces, coalitions and agencies to promote a healthy, drug-free environment. Additionally, Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare promotes awareness of mental health and substance abuse issues in offices, school classrooms and through a quarterly newspaper insert, known as The Advisor. It also collaborates with various other organizations, including Southwest Missouri Mental Health Center, Family Mental Health Center, Family Oriented Counseling Services and Royal Oaks Hospital. Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare maintains a location in Warrensburg, Mo.
