CSDD, also known as Comprehensive Services for the Developmentally Disabled, provides vocational and community integration skill training services for adults with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. It also offers therapeutic and community skills, as well as job coaching, employment and personalized planning services. The organization uses senior and fitness centers and beauty salons for teaching. CSDD also organizes several activities, including sports and seasonal events, movies, arts and crafts and cooking classes. It has working relationships with the Intermediate School District, Michigan Jobs Commission and Wayne Center. The organization has locations in Chesterfield and Monroe, Mich. Established in 1983, CSDD also maintains a location in Warren, Mich.
